When directors and share holders of a company unanimously take decision is called Board Meeting. Meeting subjects are passed by consent of the directors with signing on papers is called meeting resolution or minutes copy. There are two or three types of meeting are hold as follows:
- Regular Board Meeting
- Extra Ordinary General Meeting
- Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Regular Board Meeting
Board Meeting is needful to make unanimous decision. To open bank account, apply for loan, purchase property, constitutional changes, director’s changes and many more reasons board meeting is required to have valid papers.
Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM)
If directors of the company decide to increase plenty of share of company to apply for public listing, suddenly key director (s) are changed, big investment in a project, company objectives are changed, company name is changed and any issue of constitutional are called for EGM.
Annual General Meeting (AGM)
As law every year directors of each company will arrange a meeting where majority of directors will present and pass the agendas like annual accounts and audit, appoint auditor, declare dividend and any other important agendas is called Annual general Meeting.
